Scorpio December

31 December

You can heave a sigh of relief and relax. Or can you? Pay attention to your finances and ensure you are not being overly optimistic with expenditures.

30 December

Whoa, Scorpio! Put down those fists of fury and try talking it out first.  Something (or someone) has got you riled. Remember you can do white a lot of damage without even trying.

29 December

Yes, they're talking about you. The good thing is you know it. Your razor sharp perceptions never let you down.  Let idle gossip be idle gossip. You have more important things to get on with.

28 December

You love a good mystery and nothing takes away the monotony of the days following public holidays like a bit a sleuthing. Beware: the solutions to some mysteries have sharp teeth.

27 December

OK, you've been well behaved over the holidays and so now you seem to be under the impression you can wreak havoc. Be troublesome if you really can't resist--but remember you can't control the outcomes of everything.

26 December

All Holy Books promise us that those who seek will truly find. Dig out your maps and choose the direction that takes your fancy.

25 December

May Zeus bless us all with tolerance, wisdom and grace. May we learn about our our beliefs through our faith in the goodness in this world . . .and may understanding come to us through holding what we share in common. Love binds us and divides us but may we all unite on this auspicious Full Moon and remember the roots of our love is what we share.

24 December

Intensity abounds. Even for you it might get to be a bit too much. Take a break when you need it and don't let the small stuff get to you.

23 December

You're back to being under cover--just the way you like it. Watch and learn, watch and learn. You'll be back with the rest of us sooner than you expect.

22 December

Do you have the feeling that everyone is looking at you? Well they are--and everyone wants a piece of you. Why? Because, despite your intensity, you never miss a trick and everyone is starting to realise it.

21 December

Have you ever wondered why people never directly ask what you want? Could it be that they are afraid that they can't live up to your expectations?

20 December

You might be feeling tongue tied today but when you do open your mouth--oh boy. You're going to be upsetting a few people today. Let them deal with the truth.

19 December

It's time to get your house in order. You have some big things coming and you won't want to be stuck doing the dishes when there are so many bigger and better things to get on with.

18 December

How do you manage to turn the most fun activities into something so dramatic? If you are around children, be aware that they are sensitive to your feelings--even if it doesn't seem like it.

17 December

It would be a great day to sit in the pub all day--except that once again, you're claiming impoverishment as an excuse. Stop pretending to be poor and have some fun. If you think like a poor person, you'll become a poor person.

16 December

OK, grumpy guts, we got the message: you're not in the mood. Do make an effort to be civil but if you can't, please stay indoors. And whatever you do, don't go shopping.

15 December

You are very good at keeping secrets but don't like it much when the tables are turned. Best to be honest now than to be outed against your wishes later.

14 December

Financial woes seem to get you down. Are they really something to worry about? If so, endeavour to get to the root of the problem and try to resolve them (with your best possible manners) if you can.

13 December

In the long run, it is better that everyone sees your hands if you are in the process of making a business deal. Make sure you have nothing to hide.

12 December

You've had a chance to think about what matters most to you so now it's time to share. Put your thoughts in order and get them out there.

11 December

As one lunar phase draws to a close and another begins, create intentions focusing on your resources and values. Where do you stand on current moral issues? And is your stance conducive to the world economy or is it only looking at the narrow, locked-in opinions of a few. Think big. Think generous.

10 December

Thoughts are powerful so get ready for a mental shift. Consider what resources you need to reach your ambitions and use the New Moon tomorrow to make some invocations.

9 December

The Balsamic Moon invites you to begin the process to consider how you come across to others. What do you think others see in you--and is this what you want them to see?

8 December

Get your sexy on and go out and have some fun. You're at your best and you're going to want everyone to know about it!

7 December

You're at your devilish best today and you know you can get away with it. Have fun and try not to get caught being naughty.

6 December

Just. Don't. Say. It. You can do some serious damage with that temper of yours. Rage at inanimate objects--at least they won't respond.

5 December

Get yourself dressed up for the party and put a smile on your face. You're up to your very wicked best.

4 December

It's a fantastic day for being with friends and other loved ones. Don't be afraid to spend some money on having fun!

3 December

"Never a borrower nor lender be". This is particularly true for friends, no matter how much they plea or how much in need you are.

2 December

Today is a fabulous day for making plans for the future. Spending time with the family is likely to be high on your list so get the family album out for inspiration.

Virgo December

31 December

Ease off today. Yes you have an agenda but so does everyone else--and not everyone likes to pay as much attention to detail as you.

30 December

It's hopeless--you're not going to get anything done today. Grab a good bottle of vino and share it with someone you fancy. Go on and take a chance.

29 December

You are quite susceptible to "pester power" today. Unless you're comfortable with an empty bank account, keep the credit cards, etc tucked well away where you can't get to it easily.

28 December

Despite your best efforts to remain calm and collected, there is an underlying feeling that something isn't right. You can't quite put your finger on it, but the winds of change are blowing.

27 December

With your discerning eye, you often see only the things that need to be fixed. Try concentrating on the things are fine the way they are. You'll be much happier for it today.

26 December

You know what you need? You need some fun. Put the feather duster down and get some fresh air. You deserve it!

25  December

May Zeus bless us all with tolerance, wisdom and grace. May we learn about our our beliefs through our faith in the goodness in this world . . .and may understanding come to us through holding what we share in common. Love binds us and divides us but may we all unite on this auspicious Full Moon and remember the roots of our love is what we share in common.

24 December

Put the laptop away. Seriously. It's the holidays so get on with the business of enjoying yourself. Work can wait but friends and family won't. Grab a cracker and find someone to share it with--now!

23 December

Throw yourself into your work and feel your life's purpose. You may feel under appreciated--but that is only your perception. Sometimes folks just save up their thank you for a special occasion.

22 December

Check your address book and call all your fellow Virgo friends as well as the Tureens and Capricorns and through one hell of a party. Let the fire signs (Aries, Leos and Sagittarians) clean up after you for a change. Make a big mess for them.

21 December

It has been difficult for you to relax but now things are starting to calm down. Or are they? A busy mind always finds things to do (or worry about) so make sure you keep yourself distracted with lots of treats--and let other people sort themselves out.

20 December

You might not be in the party mood but there's so much fun to be had. Put your financial concerns aside, get your party hat on and get tangled up in the tinsel.

19 December

Is it time to get the feather dusters out? Be careful about looking too carefully in all those little nooks and crannies. You might find more than you could ever have bargained for.

18 December

You seem to be nursing a broken heart there, dear Virgo. Have a nice cup of tea, watch a sloppy romance flick or write some poetry. Days like these are meant for writing poetry.

17 December

Unusually for you, chaos reigns. In fact, he's still sleeping in your bed, having drunk the last of your vintage beer collection last night. If you let him, he'll be raiding your kitchen next. For God's sake, don't let him in your bathroom!!

16 December

Everyone knows you have your own peculiar way of doing things. Don't feel you have to defend yourself or explain your rationale--just do what you feel is best.

15 December

If you keep looking for problems in your romances then you are bound to find them. Either accept things for how they are  or be prepared for some very big surprises.

14 December

Children have a way of provoking our deepest worries and concerns. If you're a parent, do a quick reality to check to avoid unnecessary anxiety. If children are not a part of your life, be very careful about giving your opinions about how others should raise theirs.

13 December

You may not like getting your hands dirty but confronting your inner demons is the only way you can clear space for a new romance. So get dirty. Deep and dirty.

12 December

Today is a good day to have a bit of fun. That's right: fun! You do remember what that is, don't you? No? Well it's to re-learn the dos of living. When in doubt, hang out with the kids.

11 December

As one lunar phase draws to a close and another begins, create intentions focusing your home and family. Spend some time examining your emotional state(s), your relationship with your personal history and consider your legacy to the world.

10 December

Get ready to shift your mental focus to enjoying your work.  Consider what makes you feel the most comfortable and use the New Moon tomorrow to make some invocations.

9 December

The Balsamic Moon invites you to begin the process to consider the manner i which you communicate with others. Are you as efficient as you could be?

8 December

Tension has hit you straight where you don't want it: your pocket. But keep the faith--everything will be on the mend soon.

7 December

There's far too much going on for your liking today. Take a deep breath and prioritise the important stuff and leave the little things to others.

6 December

Sorting through finances seems to be the key to enjoying this stressful day. Go to bed early with a hot water bottle if it gets to be too much.

5 December

It's time to play therapist to friends. Your advice and support is so valuable to others. Just don't forget to look after you too.

4 December

It's a day to have the courage of your convictions. Tell the what you really think.

3 December

Someone's playing with your emotions. Why are you tolerating it? Put them straight!

2 December

Impulsive buying will be your downfall. Keep your wallet in your pocket and unless you really need something, don't be tempted.

December Overview

If there is one thing that gets on your nerves, it’s disorder of any sort—and this goes for the emotional kinds as well. And yet, all kinds of nervous and unpredictable emotional drama seems to find its way to your doorstep over and over again this month? What to do? Well do as you would do with any other type of chaos: spend a little time putting things back in order. Spend some time with the friend who is grieving over that crazy relationship. Have the tissues ready for your overwhelmed boss and/or the kid who is disappointed things aren’t going the way they wanted. The new moon on the 11th provides an opportunity to clear the proverbial slate and the Full Moon on Christmas day brings you a shift into happier, less dramatic times.

From the pit of despair to the gate of heaven: Full Moon in Gemini

These past few weeks have been filled with the giddy, heart-thumping anticipation that might accompany a resurrection: for from the depths of the Underworld with the New Moon in Scorpio to the glorious and thrilling adventure that is the Full Moon in Gemini opposite to the Sun In Sagittarius, our journey whisks us from mystery and restores our faith in splendid delight. From the realm of Pluto to the realm of Mercury, this Full Moon reminds of us of how far and how fast we can travel with a little optimism. And of course, the duality is reminiscent of the Heavenly Twins Castor and Pollox and the travel talents of Mercury. The next stop is the New Moon in the realm of Zeus (Sagittarius).

Behold this Full Moon. Be thankful for your inner and outer journeys. You no longer have to cower in fear of the unknown but can bask in the light of Supreme perfection.

There is a caveat however. And that is such moments are but fleeting, temporary and will pass (as Bruce Springsteen once said) in the wink of a young girl's eye.

Enjoy the moment, take advantage of the light and be grateful for the lessons you have been taught.
